THESE NEVER EXISTED UNTIL AFTER 2001ish. WHEN I WAS GROWING UP, EVERY SINGLE CONTRAIL VANISHED 30-60 SECONDS AFTER BEING EMITTED BY THE JET ENGINE, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
