I say supposedly, because while people seem to agree thats its possible, I cant actually find any proof of anyone doing it other than nasa or the universities that help them. And a episode of big bang theory lmao.
I figured with a strong enough laser its true, But I dont understand why you couldnt just shoot a missile there and parachute it down.
Led me down the rabbit hole about what the reflector was made of.
Same thing thats in most electronics. Synthetic quartz. It would likely survive a minor collision with the moon. And on a side note, the quartz works in electronic, like the semiconductor, through some bizarre quirks in quantum mechanics. If humans really did figure this out, without some ancient technology or crashed alien wreckage as a blueprint, I feel like they got lucky as hell.
If you watch how it works and how they make it, reminds me of the books/tv/movies, where you see aliens using crystals for their technology. Could just be my overactive imagination though.
Isn't there some reflector they left behind or something that supposedly proves they were there?
They did. With a strong enough laser you can measure the distance to the moon yourself, supposedly.

Hopefully they leave a fag the next time
