Well duh. I have no doubt at this point they have technology that could do something like that.
However, I bring up my point I brought up last time.
The Galileo affair began around 1610 and culminated with the trial and condemnation of Galileo Galilei by the Roman Catholic Inquisition in 1633
So as that hed pe song goes, in 1633 the kings/queens and churches had control of what they thought people were allowed to know.
We did not have the technology to do anything like this. Maybe our creators did or maybe there is a singular all powerful god. I dont understand what the point of faking craters on the moon or mars would do to help anything. Having craters suggests they are real and get smacked all the time. And considering how many meteors that have been seen recently, its hard to argue its fake.
Perhaps my human brain is to little to understand, but I do believe that a majority of people, especially smart people actually have the best interest's for mankind. People like carl sagan and buckminster fuller do not strike me as people who are going to keep secrets for our oppressive masters.
I'M claiming that is isn't hard to imagine that people who believe the extent that NASA will go to fool them won't just assume a lunar satellite is the next step in the conspiracy. I have no idea how they justify telescopic views pointed at the sky or on the horizon for that matter.
Same way they cope with seeing the moon itself.
Ask again in about two decades from now, when, and if, it get's built.
