That is pretty much the acknowledged principle of a true vaccine, controlled infection or... controlled harm to mitigate greater harm.

I do not think the issue is with the concept of vaccination, rather the problem is Big Pharma corruption.

This all regards actual vaccines, not experimental gene therapies.
