We're witnessing a coordinated effort to whip up coronavirus hysteria on /r/conspiracy. Threads and comments calling for skepticism are being severely brigaded. It is not organic.

They are trying to rewrite history by saying the conspiracy theorists were freaking out about COVID.
Literally the top mod of /r/conspiracy warned the opposite and the community resoundingly agreed.
I'm so proud to see your Jan 28 post. I never saw that until now. I was still in the "oh fuck, we're fucked" crowd until a couple weeks later when the Germany data started coming out and didn't corroborate the Italy data (official Italy death rate was like 30x worse than Germany). One of the sources of information I was going off was MedCram. I've listened to a lot of their videos since those first weeks of "there's a novel coronavirus in China", and i've often wondered whether they were just analyzing the available data as an independent third-party or whether they were part of the scam; there are just so many disinformation agents in all walks of life to satisfy all niches of information consumers at various levels of education and intelligence.

Having done my first aid certifications for a longer timeline than ten years, and working with people in the risk management field, I did notice about ten years ago they added how to an AED to your certification and the risk manager was pushing them to be everywhere about 5 years ago, based on her professional publications calling for them to be everywhere. I told her they were a waste of money, she told me a relative had a life saved by one, and that I was heartless. I decided not to fight that fight.
