Thinking about buying a uv-a and uv-b detector to prove this shit. I was outside for 20 mins yesterday and no joke it felt like I got a good damn welders flash. For 3 hours my skin was radiating heat.

Yeah, maybe you are farther up north? But as someone else said, they see them in ontario. I see them in nova scotia.
Granted, it seemed like they quit a few years back and they dont do it often but they are still hard it at it recently. Seems like they do it during certain periods of time.
The simplest explanation is the likeliest, they are doing it to combat global warming. They dont want to tell everyone because people are going to be upset they are spraying shit like aluminum and plastic up there.
I notice that 90% of the time they do it, its either in front of the setting or rising sun, which suggest to me that perhaps they are trying to keep people from seeing something up there when the sun is at just the right angle.
