This is the conclusion Ive come to after all this time.

I believe this suicidal tendency is cyclic and always precedes catastrophe. Our souls are eternal and I believe they know about the coming end. People just give up before the 'event' that will kill nearly all life on the planet.

Some people respond to this psychic knowledge by becoming evil, violent, murderous. They get into power and then use that power to harm others because they know the end is near.

Combine that psychopathic, psychic behavior with the theory that as the Earth's magnetic field weakens, living things become more violent (See Chan Thomas's book The Story of Adam and Eve). The magnetic field is weakening because the cataclysm is coming.

Some people respond to this feeling of impending doom by just giving up. They tune out from external stimuli that would warn them there is danger and to be cautious. Look at the people that lined up for suicide by injection! What happened to their senses?? They gave up. They know, on a deep level, they are doomed so they quit trying to survive and just took the shot despite all the warning signs.

The cyclic nature of near extinction level events is known. If we know it here, now, in this estate or dimension, then we also know it in other planes or estates. I think we are getting psychic messages/warnings/feelings to be prepared.

Not only that, we have warnings from our ancestors about these things and the need to be prepared. The bible and other ancient texts talk about "end times" and world wide destruction. Those are warnings from our past.

So, some get violent and psychotic. Some get hopeless, quit and commit suicide (this is the majority of humanity IMO) and that leaves a small group, a very small group, that sees what is happening, understands it, accepts it and is trying to be as prepared as possible for it.

The point is, as a species, we know its about to end and we cannot stop it. We get messages from the past and the future about it. Some heed it. Some dont.

Id like to hear your thoughts.

Just a thought: what if God and Satan are both psyops? The purpose being complete distraction from the real thing: that this is indeed a creation of which we can know only its features/behavior, but nothing of what's beyond it. If it's a creation, then surely it must've been created by someone/something? Yep, and that's where our knowledge ends and the psyop begins.

I mean, the entire thing, as presented, has always sounded like a soap opera to me. A vengeful God? Cool story, bro.

We are made in God’s image. Would you not be a jealous, vengeful God? I know I would. Imagine building a nice gaming computer from scratch, only coming home one day to find that it was perfectly operational, only it was sentient enough to not boot up for you anymore, it just didn’t want to play the games you wanted to play. In fact, it stopped believing you exist altogether.

I don’t know about you, but I’d cast that motherfucker right off my back porch.

I hear ya, but this is what I meant about it possibly being a psyop.

We are made in God’s image.

We are told so, but do we know so? I suppose. Anything we create is in some sense an extension of our mind, an imprint of our mind onto the physical. Any sort of simulation we'd build, would have our mind's signature all over it, which would unavoidably be propagated downstream ad infinitium (a simulation within a simulation...). If we look upstream, we can deduce/assume the same thing applies: that we/this is a representation of God's mind and that God's mind stretches upstream ad infinitum and could never be fully grasped by the creation, yet the creation itself is God's mind. What a glorious oxymoron.

Is that what the Bible means by it, or is it saying/implying that we look like God and experience existence in a similar manner God does, just that God exists in a different realm?

I don't have a problem with God, I just have a problem with how it's presented and with the assumption that what other people have written/told us is what God really is. I don't think anyone knows what God is. I think it is unfathomable, but it is nevertheless; existence itself being the ultimate and definitive "proof" anyone should need. All that is is God, no way around it. Any sort of vengeful god is merely something that exists within God, just like us.

EDIT: I know I've said "God is a psyop" in my previous comment, but I was just referring to the "God"/vengeful god that we're presented with.
