This reminds me of all the "oh, you can't trust the stock market" stuff going around when George W. Bush was trying to privatize social security.

For heavens sake, the mortgage back security fraud almost destroyed the global financial system, but some fraud happens with crypto currencies and the people come out of the woodwork to say "see I told you so." Well, I hate to tell you, it happens everywhere any with everything. There was even a huge price fixing scandal with high fructose corn syrup a couple years ago.
