Why some people is so obsessed with digging in the question about moon landing? Neither answer have any significance.
Option one - US Moon Landing was real. So what?
Option two - US Moon Landing was a hoax. Again, so what?
It does not matter.
Much more interesting and really significant question is why the humanity (all humanity, not just US), while having all tech and means to develop and explore Moon for a long time abandoned all attempts to do it, like somebody prohibited that activity in whole.
Moon, as any atmosphereless celestial body open to the solar and space radiation contains a lot of tritium, much more than you could produce on Earth nuclear stations. Tritium is ~$30k per gram. One ton of tritium is $30B So it is profitable to develop the Moon even only for tritium, that is expensive now and will become more expensive when it finally become fuel for really working thermonuclear reactors. However, even profit does not cause extensive Moon exploration.

it matters cuz it triggers you boomers
So, you don't care about real things, only about hype? Nice. :)
if it triggers you it must be good by definition
It does not triggers me, I don't care, I just try to understand what is the point of decades of meaningless discussions on insignificant question.
