There was a study testing these self serve touch screens in fast-food joints for the presence of fecal matter - and the amount was sky-high. Who knew so many people had poopy fingers, and that forcing them all to touch the same surface would accumulate that... shit.
now..i wonder something. when people have their masks on all day and touch them to adjust them. is that SAME FECAL matter getting absorbed in the mask?? then those people are breathing in micro shit matter all day?
in the future, they will eliminate servers and all that shit . i hear they are looking to make restaurants where people are just in the back cooking, and then it just comes out to you
I have seen Click & Collect for retail food stores at train stations - order in the morning, collect on the way home.
It kind of makes sense as it reduces the "last mile problem" which Uber Eats & Deliveroo type services try to solve. If deliveries to the Collection Point can be consolidated that reduces costs (& carbon footprint if you care about that).
Not that I think it is a great idea overall. Outsourcing all of your cooking is weird to me, restaurant & take-away food is usually high calorie (lots of fat) and going to the restaurant is for the event not the just the food.
It keeps all the unsightly uber eats deplorables out of your friendly neighborhood applebees. Wouldn’t want
One’s fat white entitled suburban wife chowing down on n*sync babybacks to actually put a face to the name she can’t pronounce and refuses to tip who rode in on a George Soros raft.

Still better than the people working in fast food and now your order will be correct and free from entitled halfwits

They are getting rid of the back end staff too.hope they enjoyed that fifteen bucks.
What on a sushi conveyor belt?
sadly, majority of people will NOT do that. that's why mom and pops are failing

Didn't know about whatever it is you were in. Is it just a collection point?
I think that is a new concept.
