forgot to mention, raised catholic, father was a mason, his father was a mason etc goes on for generations, can supposedly trace family line all the way back to charlamagne. On maternal side mafia, family ran guns, shine and drugs for generations from nyc to louisiana and back, head of multiple “labor unions”, heavy into political arena in ny and nj. not surprising, today nj/ny more corrupt than Mexico. Of course you never find out about this stuff until you attend a funeral, wedding or family reunion (very entertaining), could be alot of bullshit, but thinking back, why wasn’t I allowed to open the Uncle’s car trunk, get a jack/lift LOL. Speaking of that, I bet he (uncle) had at least 30 kids (that he claims he knew of) never married.
The “family” (maternal side) had rules, the youngest were “untouchable” meaning that they weren’t allowed to get in the “family business” essentially the good guy “boy scout” front guy. my grandfather would be a good example of that rule. Reminds me of the godfather, in the movie they skipped over the oldest, the younger became godfather.
My godfather (paternal side) was definitely CIA, there is a movie about him, they use his birth name in the movie so I can’t mention it here obviously (even though I know none of us are “actually” anonymous).
