Josephus was a jew historian. None of his work bears any resemblance to the Bible. Moreover, the Bible wasn't codified until well after Christianity was already the major religion of the empire in the mid-late 300s, so if the Romans were paying Josephus to do the work, they sure did it kinda late.
So, you're making shit up, and making yourself look silly in the process.
The gospels were written by their names as authors. Luke also wrote Acts of the Apostles. John, while exiled on the island of Patmos, wrote the Book of Revelation. Paul wrote, or dictated almost all of his letters; based on writing style perhaps some notes or other letters of his got amalgamated in a couple instances.
The gnostic gospels, like the one supposedly written by Thomas, have vintage that couldn't be trusted, and were thus excluded.
Jesus christ.
This is a conspiracy website.
Not repeating "accepted doctrine".

Im not gonna post a book's worth of blah blah.
Josephus Flavius as a co-opted jew writing a cynical new testament for his roman patrons is a well researched theory.

And for the record. Jesus as the good guy...yeah. Real or tulpa... He's a nice guy. I like Him. I'm voting for Him if he runs against Castreau.
alltheleavesarebrown, while this is a conspiracy site, there has been more research into New Testament bible authorship than virtually any topic on earth. Secularists wish to undermine, and theologians look for holes to plug. Turns out, the accepted wisdom is largely correct. You drop some links here, like that's going to undermine centuries of research. It's funny, really it is.
And you drop no links.
The bible was written by guys with different agendas.

I've got at least a 50 hours listening to podcasts and such on this topic by noted apologists like Jimmy Akin and Taylor Marshall, as well as in person presentations that, like in the old days, you can't give hyperlinks so some internet guru can try to "debonk". Everything you're bringing up, for example, was gone over by Jerome when he translated the bible into Latin in like 380AD. He spend the rest of his life writing commentaries on his choices in that process.
The bible is the most read and studied text in human history, you think you bring anything new to the table that hasn't been examined a hundred times before? The sheer hubris is, well, biblical in proportion.
So all 73 books, yes, were written over a long period of time by all sorts of different authors, with different agendas because THEY ARE TELLING DIFFERENT STORIES. You think the author of the Book of Job didn't have one agenda that is different from the author of Leviticus? What point are you getting at here?
Frankly, you'd be better off saying, from your point of view, when the Bible was compiled what they left in and what they took out, was done with an agenda.
