My battery life more than doubled after removing that shit. I used a custom android OS with microg.
There is zero need for google services on your phone unless the developer of the app specifically uses their authentication - I uninstall these apps and never look back, there is always a better alternative.

step 1. get rid of anything apple
step 2. get an android phone
step 3. dont sign into google on your android phone
step 4. download aurora store and aptoid
step 5. use iMobikin for backups you can keep on your computer
step 6. live life and enjoy :)
Yes, it ate 10% of my mobile data usage, even if I didn't use it, until I turned it off. Even if turned off it can't be uninstalled on an Android phone and it's still running unknown crap in the background. I hate Samsung but I hate Apple more and Google even more.
