My battery life more than doubled after removing that shit. I used a custom android OS with microg.
There is zero need for google services on your phone unless the developer of the app specifically uses their authentication - I uninstall these apps and never look back, there is always a better alternative.
Not sure if it's ok to link but: https://lineage.microg.org/ You gotta be able to use ADB and root your phone. It's worth the trouble.
