I was just explaining to my 12 y.o. granddaughter about Jim Jones and the kool-aid earlier today as well as the Heaven's Gate cult. Always good to inform the youngsters so they keep their eyes open for this crap in their lifetime. My grandmother would tell me about crap from the 20's and 30's that she knew about. "Nothing new under the sun" my grandmother would keep reminding me.
