No, it depends on the communists. There are several. There are hippies in a commune, Jews in a kibbutz. There are dumb Marxists and ideologists. Or supposed people's revolutions. These have largely beem from coup and its people seizing military control. Later called the peoples party or whatever.
I did this debate before on here. Controversial. Probably get disagreement. But aren't military communists, they serve the state and guard it. They rank not from democracy but from experience, skill, training. They have their own laws and courts and police. They have their own jobs, and military complex, and their own ideology. They communally live on bases. Capitalism pays and deploys military, it defends democracy. It is not fascist, you can leave, and be discharged, tried and executed, it is not a democracy you don't vote. It is not a dictatorship, but monarchy can command it. The army are right-wing despite democracy regulating them. They can become fascists, or dictatorships, on assuming power over the state. What are they? Capitalists, no, that's mercenaries. The state pays them rather equally, housing, training, and fielding them likewise. If not communist, dictatorship. But they're not a dictatorship. Classify them? Socialist, no, not the entire state serves. Nationalists undoubtedly. But ultimately communist? Or suggest otherwise.
In any case those communists are right wing. While other Marxists aren't.
Nazis are technically left, because they were socialists. Changed today into globalisation. Or social systems, and technology away from nationalism, nationalisation. The left are innately fascist. Worse today.
Well, I think the granularity you are choosing in itself is misleading you a bit.
Starting with a clear understanding that we place the division of two groups as a mental tool to understand because the desire to be lead vs choosing your own way is consistent across humans.
So we devised 'left and right' as a concept of one thought on each side of someone who has no significant input on the matter.
This is rooted in the claim that the left wants governance and the right wants personal freedom.
So, just because someone says it is left or right, means little, you need to look into what the actions define it to be. In the event of fascism, communism, technocracy and even democracy the outcome is the same.
Based on this system of control and manipulation we can find all the people on the left demanding government take control.
So, is someone who lives in a community a leftist because they accept infrastructure and a life system as is devised by the community/country around them?

Yawn. Socialism is globohomoism. There is no community today. It has inserted strangers everywhere causing mass consumption. The few communities remaining are under assault by socialism destroying them. It inserts more consumption and services destroying the community, filling it with a bunch of leftists burning the Bible, stopping fox hunting, making little troons, women football teams, you name it. Community today is going to a foreign football match. Rurally it is under assault by mass immigration. As another estate of tenements fills with strangers. The remaining community traditions left have become unaffordable, and non profitable, eventually threatened by regulations stopping them.
Socialism is globohomoism and the only community and tradition it wants are through services it controls, as it adds greater numbers destroying communities. The TV destroyed communities, the computer has destroyed far more. There hasn't been a single socialist innovation that hasn't achieved anything but dystopia. The left want more bullshit, because all they're is puppets. Take this climate shit. Innovations empowering wealth to control them far more, causing them to be literal slaves. Look at the online communities created. Are you nuts?
