So they’re intentionally mislabeling the people to garner sympathy rather than tell the truth. Most of us use the common distinctions and Overton window when it comes to left/right. Slightly right of centre, conservative. Farthest to the right, total anarchy. Slightly left of centre, libertarian. Furthest to the left, authoritarian fascist/socialist/communist/totalitarian government control.
