The article barely scratches all of it and is slightly vague.
But weight, height, dental, physical, vision. History of no operations, and surgery, or medications. Requirements for starting commercial flight. Testing afterwards is huge. Both random blood and urine. Also full surgeon examinations.
Not all but look at the FAA. Depends on the license if it's flying a biplane or a jumbo different license again on military. Look upto the age of renewal. Look at the licenses granted.
I guess my point isn't that they're not extensively tested but rather that none of these tests will detect subclinical myocarditis- it requires fairly specialized testing
What didn't you understand. I am talking to a wall. A plank. Thick as what's that word, shit.
They get a full surgeon examination. If they have doctors outside of the airlines it is logged. A history of medication. Many are barred if they have had former prescriptions, and any surgery. If they have those health conditions it is detected. Symptoms are chest pain, tiredness, loss of breath, dizziness. They undergo a full physical, breathing, heart. They're checked for blood clots.
But you need a specific test. Instead of checking for symptoms. Where all their levels are put through a pace. Simply having them on a treadmill for an hour strapped up to the gizmos would beep beep beep. Dumbass. Those levels would be different, why. Better check. Where do you dumb idiots come from. It's like you read Google, but you have no practical experience. All because you ignore what it means. Foreign, bot. You tell me. You simply cannot process, or formulate. Lacking practical experience and knowledge. I am not being harsh after the tenth time. You're listening but you don't hear, you're hearing but you don't understand. It's not difficult. Prior to examinations they can hide some shit. But the airline's surgeon administered the vaxx, signed off on it. It would sooner recall them for further testing if there are increasing concerns. The former days of my uncle, are long expired, with the regs they go through today. I blame movies for the troupes or knowledge that has muddled your perception. Those military films with a cigar hanging out of their mouth, or anybody can fly all you need is another download. Obviously what that mick above is on about. Watched the latest Maverick. Or god knows.
No it isn't every pilot, there are lesser licences for certain aircrafts. But it's on all the regular ones. Commercial and military.
Stop it. What didn't you understand. If they're susceptible to blood clots. How are they testing them? That was prior to COVID. Blood work and piss testing is mainly toxicology. But they do breathing tests, heart tests, etc. These are international and commercial pilots. They get random toxicology tests, simply asked to submit urine and blood. Meanwhile if they have problems they go to a doctor right. Normally their health is covered by the airlines. It's on file.
No that isn't every pilot. But it's the main ones and also most military. You get a few charter and privately owned facilities in places where there aren't the same standards. But there are still standards they have to comply with. Where routine health checks are mandatory for licensing.
You're so focused to stir, and I just don't know what it is. This topic is quite ridiculous. Pilots flying around who could keel over like a bad movie. Not today. Regs have tightened up. But the shit here we've seen it with a bunch of people, athletes, etc, it can cause strokes. Not today with almost all aviation.
Blood work is not enough. They need to test for bionarkers not just drugs and CBC

USA. Europe has mental health tests.

Wow you really are quite rude. If you're not interested in what I know, I won't share it with you.
