The standard practice of sociopaths is to always ignore stated evidence and always counterattack on another front immediately if not sooner. This evasive deflective maneuver serves at least two purposes: removing need to counterargue accusations, and forcing the opponent to waste energy handling the provoker's lies. By the way, most of them learned to do it in childhood to avoid punishment and it became a way of life... a huge number of Democrat politicians do it.

Also, most sociopaths accuse the other side of doing what they are doing and denying that they do it.

The life of sociopaths is based on lying all the time, deflecting, and denying.
