Russia has not got 40% of every resource. Dumbass. It has a large amount of oil and gas and land for example agriculture as well as certain other minerals and metals. Oil and gas because other nations haven't been competing. There are other reserves not being used. Greenland, New Zealand, Venezuela, and many others. Russia land agriculture production is having a colossal toll on the Arctic. Minerals and metals excluding some, aren't competitive either. There are other deposits globally.

Russia is massively behind chips and semiconductor production, China is as well, although much more competitive than Russia. Being cut off from it, China relies on Western holdings, hence they're both pushing globally, Africa and other, but they'd fail to compete completely. Completely. Decades behind and increasing with advancement. The next gen being pushed. They lack the expertise to make anything on the same scale, method, production, and process. Russia doesn't dominate the World on the military stage it has a competitive edge, but it is not superior. It couldn't beat a land army from the West. Instead it relies and has stockpiled nukes. Nato would obliterate Russia in all of a month, by conventional means. Degrade and destroy the majority of its army, but it could never fully invade it. It would retreat deeper into China, and release the horde of bug eaters and Mongols. But Nukes prevent all of that.
