Why would anyone follow a politician's Twitter account whose tweets are just various vetted bits published by a PR firm that works for that politician?
I can see following politicians, even those who you disagree with, who actually tweet. I want to hear what they have to say directly; that's the whole point of that shit platform.
During the 2020 election, I decided to give the Bernie Sanders subreddit a visit. It was the wee hours of the morning and there were over 400 members online at that moment.
I then took a look at Joe Biden's. He was the Democratic nominee. There were only six users online. I came back in a couple of hours and that number had doubled to twelve.
That's when I understood the magnitude of the fakery.
