EVs have increased planetary pollution. Just because they don't emit. Doesn't mean they don't pollute. Where did the resources used to manufacture them come from. They didn't grow on trees. They deforested. How long do they last. What energy powers them. How much more resources and energy do they use. But that's the thing it's all about consumption and the profit from it. If everything runs on electricity you can charge what you like it has no market competition.
Carbon credits are a joke. Isn't the main component in an EV carbons, carbon fibre, alloys, plastics, synthetics? Plus all the other rare earth metals. Where EVs last for far less lifetime. But they breakdown quicker from even the weather. Just imagine an EV in a traffic jam, or in a snowstorm. Ding that charge is gone. You're running off a battery at what capacity? Never mind their cost comparison. They are almost twice the cost of a regular car. They're more resource heavy. Where there's component shortages pushing up their costs currently. Plus all the additional services required. More electricity causing higher bills. Perfect scam. More EVs more bills. Where you're also paying more for insurance. Possibly less tax. You're charging it how? Don't tell me you left it charging for 30 minutes somewhere. Or overnight connected into a street charge point. What about your house. You now have to pay more to fit a charge point and secure. How does that work from street parking. Screw you triple.
Nothing but greed lies to us today. It has exactly nothing to do with anything else. Profit forcing demand for profit
Energy price is easier to control when it's all in terms of electricity. Carbon credits will be currency moreso than now.
It's already bought, sold, and traded in industry. The same industry that causes 90% of the planets pollution.
