AKA how 99.99% of every long lasting civilization survives. It's just nationalism. Prioritize yourself first or your altruism will be abused, which puts you at a disadvantage. If a ministry of truth is supporting actual truth, why am I supposed to hate it?
If a government creates a ministry of truth it won't be supporting actual truth. It will be shaping truth to support the state. Period. End of story.

A government is just the dominant force in a region. It's not inherently impossible for it to support truth. This is just anti authoritarian cope

Citation needed. Every government institution mentioned in the OP was full of shit. But I suspect you think one of those wasn't and this is where your current pro-authoritarian rant is coming from. And since you already said you don't like Communists this doesn't leave us many options. So why are you being so evasive and afraid to say what you really support?

I'm not being evasive or hiding anything, you're just struggling to find stones to throw because you have no argument. Anyone with a brain can see that Germany was on the right side in WW2. I'm not a national socialist because I don't really care for the form of government they had. Just a nationalist. You could do the same thing with a range of governments. What matters is the goals of the people running the government.
