u/My_Neovagina_Itches can do better than Ouija, where there is some risk. He merely need dare Christ to show him it's not a fairy tale. Fairies are sweet creatures compared to Jesus the greatest hellfire preacher in history, who can set you on fire with his mouth. Best of all, this method is perfectly safe for his soul.

It's c/Christianity, and one of the devil's most effective tricks is convincing people he doesn't exist. We are all for rationality anytime you want to compare who has the more illogical fairy story.

The idea that an inverted pentagram is some evil occult symbol was made up by occultists in the mid 19th century.

Absolutely right that this is when it got out into the open. Good historians do need to read between the lines, and here recognize that alchemists had for centuries prior been using the pentagram with a broad variety of symbolisms in relation to physical stars and so it is probable that the upright/inverted paradigm to mean good/evil arose some time before it was published. Of course lots of other crazy groups had the pentagram before it was coopted by the devil in one orientation, so it's pretty public-domain of a symbol now.

As I pointed out in other recent comments, the real use of pentagrams was to express the states and their leaders as superhumans, angelic apotheoses in human form who couldn't admit publicly that's what they aspired to (except in symbolic places like the Capitol rotunda ceiling artwork). There was syncretism between godly service to Christ, and superpower manifest destiny in uncountable heavens. Only God can sort out the details in human hearts.

Yeah, I like a good conspiracy as much as the next (biological) fella, but by this point I think if the American flag was reduced to nothing but a dot on a field of white, somebody would be all like, "It'S tHe dOT oF HoRus!"

...looking over a field of pure white sheep for slaughter or something, idk, I'm sane...

Though they based this symbol upon historic Occultism

Nah the occult goes back 10k+ years. They continue to reinvent themselves but it's basically the same stuff, same symbols

They do continue reinvention because they're such constant failures but their leaders are stuck in an eternal mortality and have nothing better to do. What's very important is that all their claims to great antiquity are just more of their lies. We covenant believers had everything first, everything they have is corrupted, and I can prove it in any instance. They seize upon ambiguous seeds of falsity that they left here and there along the path of truth in history, and then when they know which way to steer the narrative they claim that the unintelligible seed was the reality all along and that we counterfeited them. So don't take their own word for their antiquity. God's Word doesn't even say we go back much more than 6000 years.
