The origin of a lie represents the contradiction of a suggested truth. Neither does nature lie; nor does it communicate truth...it moves everything within; which recipient senses perceive as inspiration. Truth implies choice being used to suggest you what is true; which only then opens up the opportunity to suggest what isn't true.

Your response to suggested true vs false; represents your choice of want vs not want. Those who make the suggestions rebranded want vs not want into true vs false to a) divide all those consenting to the suggestion against each other and b) to corrupt comprehension of choice consenting to suggestion causing the resulting conflict.
