It is 100% a war of bloodlines,or more accurately the Seed of Satan vs. the Seed of Eve, according to Genesis. Interesting enough, I believe it has to do with the Nephilim, which we WERE given information about, and not a secret hidden story about Cain's bloodline. There were giants before AND after the flood. Plenty of obscure news articles from our past talking about bones of giants found all over the world, including the US as well. So something from that line survived, but was likely diluted over time and this why the giants got smaller over time. The Bible says the original giants were as tall as Cypress trees, which would be about 30ft IIRC. The closer you get to modern day, they've been about 9 feet tall. If they did in fact discover the body of Gilgamesh (who is likely Nimrod from the Old Testament, tower of Babel), they could most certainly use DNA to revive a more pure form of that bloodline. Allegedly, the remains they've attributed to the Natives on Jekyll Island date back to 1500 BC, are actually 8 to 9 feet tall and practiced the same ritual sacrifices as the Canaanites did, as they found art depicting this as well as a Canaanite altar, but that's another rabbit hole.
