I'm interested to watch this, but you gotta take the audience into account. Are the kind of people who are still listening to a sports bro podcast really ready to hear about satanic pedophiles and Israel did 9/11, and let me explain how Putin is actually the good guy with a straightforward 45 minute lecture?
I give him credit for at least trying to talk to these people, because I certainly find it very difficult these days.
I had heard that a man is judged by his enemies. Trump seems to have quite a lot of them, and I find all of them reprehensible. And oddly, none of them seemed to have anything bad to say about him until he began to pose a challenge to the Establishment. Then they all hated him and hurled the wildest accusations at him. And the attacks continue still, for some reason no one can seem to pinpoint.
He has also tipped his hand as a closet truther several times. The most notable I'd say was on 9/11. Being familiar with the robust construction of skyscrapers, he said that it couldn't have just been planes, there must have been bombs as well. That seems quite a strange thing for someone "in the club" to blurt out. And although it is unfalsifiable, I suppose one could chalk that up to him being selected for the "revelation of the method", right?
Then there was his fake-ass bombing of Syria. Seems like everyone else "in the club" was totally down with real bombing, when it came to brown people in faraway places anyway. A strange and singular shift in tactics there.
And then there was the North Korea situation, or rather lack thereof. After some theatrics to mollify the network audiences, an existential threat evaporated like the morning dew. Again, very curious.
I could go on. And none of these items seem to me be partisan issues, aside from both parties hating and undermining him, with one of them just lying about it.
