Free press has become freedom for it to troll. Opinions largely based off of people who air nothing but their own brands of bullshit. Fake news has become mainstream. Where they're admitting to not having facts, printing unverified lies regardless, but censoring everyone else for not employing a fact checker and dissenting them.
Malevolent entities. They bring absolutely nothing to civilization least of all the news. They only cause increasing decline. But it pays them anyway. The worse it gets the more they sell. Their only logic is make it worse to profit off of it.
Cause a problem and create the solution because it nets even larger returns. Everybody else just gets more inflation, dystopia, taxes, and more pointless laws suppressing freedom.
Not once has the future improved in the last few decades. And it won't today.
Demons don't always manifest like that. Of course some welcome them in, by being evil; through utter rage, anger, greed, witchcraft, etc, and other layers and forms of adverse inhumanity.
Perhaps others are actual entities, manifesting as people of pure evil and people of ill will. Perhaps they're reptiles, cold-blooded monsters, devouring us for their own twisted malcontent.
It's more often that these people do not actually know not what they do. They are simply taken over by Agent Smith, Matrix. Like a wasp attacks for no reason. Illogically. Even Demonically. But they will have had no notion of what they've done. Like in those cheesy movies where their eyes darken, they speak demonically, and become psychotic, as if another entity is channeling straight through them. There also many that know what they do, having darker hearts and dark minds. Corrupted to their psychical core by their sins.
Do I believe in them is a different question. Do they exist is another.
Perhaps there is a parrellel universe and its 7 hells? But you haven't provided proof, it's a forbidden knowledge often a crime, instead there's largely only superstition.
