They don't even want too. But by geography it dominates Ukrainian coastline. The more Western Ukraine becomes the more threat to Russian Crimea it becomes. It might as well be what it is now because tomorrow it would be. Accidental war was sooner unavoidable, it redefines the borders. Instead of openly engaging until an accident causes it. It isn't only Crimea. Much of Eastern Ukraine is also of Russian origins.

I think Russia only has money to occupy for a few months. Kazakhstan to new shows they prefer to get in and out.
