Also, this is a question of fact. It is not, "Should Mike Pence have refused to certify the election results?" It is, "Did Mike Pence have the Constitutional authority to refuse to certify the election results and what would have happened had he decided to do so?"
There is no reason to get emotional over this issue. There was a movement to get the electors to cast ballots for Hillary Clinton despite her losing. Does anyone from that party call that an attack on Democracy?
