Seriously though, some sort of open source handset that bypasses carrier networks in favour of internet connectivity must be possible. Or a new Android that isn't just Google. I need a new phone they just stopped supporting these completely

im sooo glad i got rid of apple and ios when i did! when they did that whole about face on user security and privacy last year, that was that....
i switched to an android phone, and didnt sign into google and basically dont use any google products. its HEAVEN on earth!!
