We need a true alternative to smartphones. Honestly I would happily ditch mine and live in a cabin in the woods, but my Mrs wouldn't and it'd spell the end of my business. I'm typing this on a blackberry, so that probably tell you all you need to know about my opinion of apple et al Seriously though, some sort of open source handset that bypasses carrier networks in favour of internet connectivity must be possible. Or a new Android that isn't just Google. I need a new phone they just stopped supporting these completely
