That is a major thing about Israeli nationalism being a tenet of Judaism, it demands you view your religion as your obligation to another foreign nationalist power....
same thing with the Vatican.

Idk about all this but I do know that swearing on the Christian Bible is not exactly encouraged by my understanding of the teachings in said Bible. Like first couple pages of the New Testament if I recall correctly.
It's just a book.
I guess swearing would be the issue more so than the book.
