Everything obeys physics, even human brains. Determinism is the accurate theory. The universe is a 4D crystal and we only get to experience the slice we call "now", though the entire shape from "big bang" to "heat death" of each electron, each atom, is already completely formed.

The same as lightning won't begin to strike until the entire route is determined, neither did the universe begin to exist until its end was determined.
