I suspect this is only a small aspect of something bigger, do you think a game developer will be as motivated to work as diligently as before? Sure, fear of starvation/homelessness is motivating but it doesn't make for a creative environment. Before 2020 a game developer had a vacation to look forward to and many other aspirations. Under communism people are not really that motivated.
Everyone have been pumped fear non stop for 2 years, it should have an effect, I do not know how the vaccine mandates are going at the companies you mention, but I imagine big companies are pushing for it, they might have lost some of their very best staff, and those who took the jab, some of them might have slightly deteriorated mentally, this is without taking the effect of oxygen depraving masks, this may seem like only a 10% -20% effect, but most productivity come from these extra few IQ points. Would be curios to see if techies or engineers are suffering from similar productivity issues.
All that said, there is an effect of over complication and over inter-dependencies that has been going for a while. In a technological society, as time progress, everything becomes more and more complicated and more and more interconnected, this means things are easier to break, there are many dependencies, lose few people here and there, or few suppliers and the whole things come apart. It becomes harder and harder to make an elegant product.
It becomes harder and harder to make an elegant product.
What if you represent the product shaped by all suggested technology? The lower the quality of what you consent to; the lower of quality are you as the product within a domesticated class. Planned obsolesce; just like historical revisionism, aren't representing harder manufacturing supply; but lower demand, thanks to a product of customer that lacks resistance towards being downgraded in quality.
I neither offer (no threads started); nor judge (no up/down-votes given). Free will of choice exists within balance. Ask yourself if your consent to suggested voting is what puts you into the conflict of reason between perceived right versus wrong?

Epic!
