OK, NASA lies, is that something new that government agency lie? There are no any government agency that does not lie.
What's the point?
More interesting is why the "critical thinkers" "research" is much worse than lie itself. Some photoshop to create a collage from low-resolution NASA pictures and images from internet that really prove nothing?
Well, let me think, that I as critical thinker would do to prove Mars rover is on Devon Island.
That will be undeniable and verifiable proof that NASA fake Mars photos.
However, it is still unclear, what is the point of such research. It will only prove that NASA lies about their Mars exploration program, nothing more. But that is a well-known fact, since the time they show their first wrong-colored images picturing Mars as a red planet with clear red sky for unknown reason. That is obvious, that on any planet with any composition of atmosphere, clear sky should be blue, due to Rayleigh scattering of sunlight on atmosphere atoms, that is independent from atmosphere composition.
Does that prove that humans can't send a drone to Mars? Absolutely not. We have all necessary tech to do it. The correct question should be "Why we still have no any habitable Mars bases and regular Earth-Mars flights in 21 century?", not "Did NASA land a drone on Mars?".
"Why we still have no any habitable Mars bases and regular Earth-Mars flights in 21 century"
You answered the question... because they lie.
NASA is not the only space agency on the Earth.
I think it is all about artificial inhibition of progress in all areas except digital electronics.
Why do you need to ask them?
How people visit different hard to reach places? Plane to the closest airport, then bus/train/car to closest town/village, then local helicopter/boat/landrover, finally your foots.
Or, if you are limited in resources, you could just look for a vacancy in that place and get a job. May be even in NASA division or its contractor running that Devon testing site.
Heavy unpenetrateable guard on unhabitable island is a good sign that you are got to something. Only that fact will be a good reason to do more research. But I didn't find any info about strange appearance of numerous guards on Devon.
Did Taimyr, without problems. Why Devon will be different?
Antarctica is not a big problem too. At least from Russian point of view. Periodically they look for, f.e. IT specialists for work at Antarctic stations. Not a best salary, but it is not about salary, isn't it? There are no any special skills needed, only to be healthy, have minimum knowledge to support stations computers and network and consent to spend a half a year in a distant and cold station.
Current vacancies for next year: http://www.aari.ru/dept/kadry/rae.html (use online translator, it is in Russian, obviously) This time IT specialist not needed, but there are a lot of other vacancies to choose from. Not very popular job, really, some time ago they look for IT specialist urgently, even on IT forums and social networks, looking for somebody who will agree for their not very decent salary.
I don't really check nowdays that old photos, but NASA have raw images archive, may be they are still there.
Try Viking lander images. Or Opportunity rover images. Both had color calibration tiles on board of known colors, so it is easy to see the NASA fucking with mars colors.
PS: Quick find: Viking lander 1 images
Viking lander 2 image with color calibration tile Bottom right square should be blue, not violet.
