From the beginning, I have thought Covid was designed to be basically not that dangerous because shutting down the world over something with a 99.9% survival rate is more demeaning to humanity than if they had actually used something that was truly dangerous. Plus it protects the people in charge because they know if they themselves happen to contract it, it's really not that big of a fucking deal.
