This came to mind earlier today, and I looked for the citations on this idea specifically (that the bar they worked at was involved in counterfeiting) but couldn’t find anything beyond a rogue 4chan post. This doesn’t seem right, as I remember far more discussion about this issue than that failed search would indicate...
Has this been memory holed or am I misremembering some anon’s guesswork?
I remember it. I might have it bookmarked on a different device. I have the graphic somewhere too. That one involved the Muslim Brotherhood and the club where he worked. Chauvin worked with Floyd and someone mentioned it but was forced to recant. The club was known as a place where counterfeit cash was being passed.
The Muslim Brotherhood owns the store and they are suspected of conterfeiting money. Floyd's dealer gave him the fake $20 and kept an eye on him until it was time for Floyd to get arrested. Whether his dealer was working for the muslims or he just happened to take a counterfeit that they recognized, his dealer is sketchy.
They did a good job burying a lot of the story. Look at how everyone forgot about Chauvin and Floyd working together. The very first thing Chauvin said on scene during the arrest was, "is he under arrest?" That's what you ask when you know the person. He should have asked for the situation but he was more worried about Floyd's arrest.
Minneapolis cops work sanctioned (by the city) part time jobs as security in various high crime areas of the city. In fact it is mandated by the city itself to have cops working being paid by the establishment if they are serving alcohol. That bar was across the street from the precinct and many cops worked there.
Peruvian lady owned a nightclub they both moonlighted security? She claimed this in a TV interview I believe.
El Nuevo Rodeo
No, there were msm articles stating they worked together and a video of the bar owner talking about it.
“ Maya Santamaria said she had been paying Chauvin, when he was off-duty, to sit in his squad car outside El Nuevo Rodeo for 17 years. She said Floyd worked as a security guard inside the club frequently in the last year. In particular, they both worked on Tuesday nights, when the club had a popular weekly dance competition.”

Floyd took something out of his pocket when he was sitting handcuffed and tossed it on the sidewalk, one of the cops picked it up, but what it was didn't make it into the report. It seems to support that Floyd knew the cops, hiding stuff for him. Someone was filming walking around the middle of the street the whole time, very suspicious behavior IMO. One of the bar owners was a woman from La Raza, the neighborhood is mostly Somali, I don't think they've tracked down the counterfeit source. Speculation was it came from China with the fentanyl Floyd ODed on, and was being laundered at the bars or the market. A large amount of counterfeits had been found in customs CA from China at time, so it seems like a reasonable chance to be true, but nothing was ever proven about any of it.
There was big money promoting the death, Floyd's artwork was put in vinyl on bus stops in London within 3 days of the death while the riots were still taking place. It seemed like the hype was preplanned.
I'm pretty sure the bar was also burnt to the ground amidst the rioting. Convenient if something sketchy was going on
