This came to mind earlier today, and I looked for the citations on this idea specifically (that the bar they worked at was involved in counterfeiting) but couldn’t find anything beyond a rogue 4chan post. This doesn’t seem right, as I remember far more discussion about this issue than that failed search would indicate...
Has this been memory holed or am I misremembering some anon’s guesswork?
I remember it. I might have it bookmarked on a different device. I have the graphic somewhere too. That one involved the Muslim Brotherhood and the club where he worked. Chauvin worked with Floyd and someone mentioned it but was forced to recant. The club was known as a place where counterfeit cash was being passed.
The Muslim Brotherhood owns the store and they are suspected of conterfeiting money. Floyd's dealer gave him the fake $20 and kept an eye on him until it was time for Floyd to get arrested. Whether his dealer was working for the muslims or he just happened to take a counterfeit that they recognized, his dealer is sketchy.
They did a good job burying a lot of the story. Look at how everyone forgot about Chauvin and Floyd working together. The very first thing Chauvin said on scene during the arrest was, "is he under arrest?" That's what you ask when you know the person. He should have asked for the situation but he was more worried about Floyd's arrest.
