So I was discussing general conspiracy theories with someone and the subject of flat Earth came up. I'm not very knowledgeable on this so I didn't do a great job explaining why someone would think the Earth is flat.
Can anyone give me the main reason why flat Earthers believe what they believe? I gather it's an elite/resources thing to restrict the plebs from some amazing hidden area that is off limits. Something to do with Antarctica?
What are the top 5 reasons people can justify this claim with that haven't already been debunked? I tried to have a look myself but there is a whole lot of crazy out there on this subject.
Are you looking for someone to prove flat earth? Or looking for really weird earth stuff? I am not a flat earther by any stretch. But this place is messed up no doubt. I'd sooner argue this is a magical realm or a simulation than any earth shape.

There are none, the earth is fucking round, just like every other celestial body for the same reason bubbles are not square or flat.
they actually believe the whooooole sky is a projection! the moon isn't REALLY round, and the other planets aren't round, the are just discs, and we are looking at them from the "top"

I am a Bible believing Christian, so I would say the sky is what we call heaven. There are at least three heavens.
As far as I have observed, the moon is a disc, I only seen one side of it. Could still be a ball, although who knows. The moon gives off its own light, as it is a light source. No rock I ever seen reflects light as brightly as the moon does, and the moon been very bright the last few years, common to see it out during daytime now.
Planets is what we call wandering stars, they are there to help us keep track of time. Try find a telescope and look to see what they look like for yourself.
