Psychedelics are best used IMO, to analyze your life/worldview from a non-biased ego-removed state. This allows you to positive/negative factors in your life from a logical POV, break old habits and routines and begin to live mindfully. All of this is possible without drugs, but they can def be useful tools.
Psychedelics brought me closer to reality. They didn't expose me to any new information, but they brought what information I had into new light. The same way that doing a practical experiment can illuminate what you've read in a book.
The most basic and universal psychedelic revelation of us all being one for example. It's one thing to philosophize about the concept, and another to experience it.
I sometimes think of psychedelics as gfx cards. They don't really enable any novel functionality, but they increase the throughput of calculations so that you can render more information concurrently. This increased processing may allow you to see patterns or compute problems that would take much longer without the gfx cards. Maybe your gfx software renders negative people to appear as 'demons'...
If psychedelics completely change your worldview, you were on shakey foundation to begin with, most likely pretending to be someone you're not, living in a way which deep down, you knew was wrong. Or maybe you didn't have a worldview at all before, and psychedelics took you like a ship without an anchor.
I've never really done psychedelics , but of late , I can't help but feel you guys are seeing something I can't
I realized that God existed and prayed alot and I realize that we are all one , I realize that this is all illusion and the real life is what comes after
And I'm sure we are here because we believe the same things, I'm just curious what your shiny GFX showed you compared to what I can see on my potato settings
There's alot of talk about the unseen in the scripture , just wanted to know if you guys have seen anything of note in relation to our conditions today
Sure the world of spirits must be completely worked into a frenzy by the forces at work in the world today
I once had a vision when I was starving and dehydrated ,
I saw all the stars in the sky disappear , and then I fell into despair
But I don't know if it was all in my head because of hunger and dehydration
If all this is an illusion, even the things in your head are illusions, so it doesn't matter if it's 'reality' or not. What matters is if they are useful illusions to you.
You can decide for anything if it has special meaning, or not. Some might see a chair and take it for granted as being a simple object. Someone else might see it in a metaphorical sense as a reminder to be supportive and comforting to others and have a purpose.
If you hallucinate an angel, and it helps you improve yourself, does it matter if there really was an angel or it was 'only in your head'? Is there a difference?
You'll never see proof of anything in life, everything is faith even "objective science." Don't worry about what's "real", focus on living consciously/mindfully and connecting with others.
The short, anticlimactic explanation of what you learn from psychedelics is that almost all cliche sayings are true. "Home is where the heart is"; "youre only as good as your word"; etc... read any trip report about what people realized, and you'll be able to find the appropriate cliche phrase to sum it up. They're cliche for a reason.
Psychedelics help you more to find the right questions, than they provide answers, but you might find that you already have the answers when you start asking the right questions.
The more beneficial effect of psychedelics is the breaking of habits/routines. After a trip, I might wake up and think "I usually get coffee, but do I want/need coffee?" Living mindfully gives you the power to not be a reactionary slave to your emotions. Make decisions not reactions.
Make decisions not reactions
That's fucking Chad bruh
Nothing visual, but I would think about laws and society. The things we have to do to maintain a cohesive structure, versus the alternatives.
What did you realize? I'm sorry to press
No firm realizations, but lots of thinking on how the common structure of law binds us and reinforces social norms and attitudes.
Also thinking about how indulgence in base desires can meet certain needs immediately but are harmful for long-term interpersonal relationships.
Thank you for sharing, yes the unbridled pursuit of desire is the pursuit of one's own doom
God bless brother
They haven't changed my worldview that much. I felt the presence of a creator, which I definitely believe in now. I was more atheistic before, but this change was also brought about by other things like creation and intelligent design arguments. I think the drugs tend to bring out what you already believe and make you feel very certain of that in the moment.
I've seen demons as well, which seems to be common. I don't know if there is anything supernatural going on here or if it is just in your head.
I feel psychedelics pull back the veil and that's why they can melt your brain
I just feel like you guys have seen the unseen , but know not what you have seen
Where were the demons?
I saw them when my eyes were closed. So it was probably my imagination.
The drugs definitely make you think differently and can bring our your subconscious mind.
Where did you see the demons when your eyes closed ?
I don't know. In my mind I guess.
I grew up in south america. My girlfriend's mom at the time was invited to participate in a series of shamanic cleansing rituals that involved entheogens such as mescaline and ayahuasca. She invited us to join her. It was pretty cool because the first night was set at a local bohemian's house who was probably in his 50s but everyone would call him "el arquitecto" or "el arqui" as he specialized in building acoustic buildings for concerts. He's the older guy that's at all the raves and everyone knows him.
My gf's mom is old school and catholic so she only wanted to be a part of the experience but didn't want to take any ayahuasca and she kept telling us to not even try it. By then I had already been pretty experienced with a lot of different psychedelics used without shamanic guidance so I was planning to do it.
We started with a brief fast, no lunch or dinner and then went to arqui's home. The shaman conducting the event told us that he came from the Tucano tribe in Colombia (famous for their DMT culture) and that he now lived in a self sustaining eco-village. He had two younger, male and female apprentices. The apprentices built a small earthwork with the shape of a crescent moon covered with flowers, there was some astrologial meaning to the event but I can't remember what it was. They started a fire on this earthwork and we sat around it in a circle.
They then gave us two hits of tobacco snuff, one into each nostril by blowing it out of a hollow bird bone. A small chunk of mescaline cactus (its commonly called San Pedro and grows everywhere) and a wad of coca leaves to chew on as the shaman beat his drum. Eventually they brought the dark ayahuasca brew.
I only tried a little bit since I have always been super sensitive. I'm a big guy but I only need really small doses of a psychedelic to get an effect. The shaman kept singing, banging his drum and telling stories from his people.
For an hour or so I was just thinking about my own internal struggles with my eyes closed. No discomfort or anything. I then opened my eyes and my vision was kinda blurry. There was a weird spot next to the shaman and the more I looked at this blur, the more colorful it got.
The spot became a circle and it was almost metallic, super shiny and colors coming in and out like a kaleidoscope. I started to make out various eyes coming in and out of this ball so I kinda starting picturing it like an owl. I then started to see 2 spheres, one on each side of the shaman, and this whole time they stayed in the same spot so even if I rubbed my eyes or moved my head they would not move. I rubbed and rubbed my eyes in disbelief.
As the spheres grew bigger they stopped looking like an owl and kept getting more and more abstract, like wheels upon wheels full of eyes with a kaleidoscope of metallic colors. I think only CGI could do it justice.
Once things slowed down the shaman asked everyone what they experienced and I didn't think mine was particularly significant. However, when I told everyone about the spheres the apprentices looked at each other and the shaman grabbed my arm with his eyes closed: "do you still see them" he asked. By then they were gone so I said no but went on to describe them as best I could.
The shaman, who was not limited to the stories of his tribe - he had even been in North America and shared shamanic techniques with tribes from here told me "maybe you saw a trono". This totally threw me off and I laughed because a "trono" was slang for someone who was high on marijuana, the verb is "tronar". So I said what? And he said yeah "trono like an angel".
It literally took me years until I was on 9gag or whatever and someone posted a meme about biblically accurate angels, one of which are called "thrones" and that's pretty much what I saw. None of the artists can replicate the metallic, transluscent colors but the wheels and eyes are accurate. Coming and going almost like a breathing surface. I didn't see any feathers though. Anyways I was surprised years later to finally understand what he meant by "trono" and I was blown away.
How could I have seen something so accurately depicted by others yet I had never seen it before? How did this image gain access to my imagination? So weird that this same spiritual being is what appeared to people in the bible as they were having mystical experiences. It is said that Moses and the burning bush visions come from an acacia tree that contains DMT. Could it be possible that these beings legit exist? Why am I always the one having amazing experiences with entheogens?
I think about that shaman and going to visit them in the eco-village all the time now.
They exist , I believe in God and angels
I'm glad you have seen what you have seen
Hey a fellow 9gager but bro this OP doesn't suck cock hahaha
Maybe you see angels because you're a good person and you want to believe in the power of God
Either way thank you for giving me yet another piece of the grand puzzle
May God bless you brother , hope things are alright in SA
Sure thing friend, I'm glad to contribute with my experience
Well we are on a conspiracy forum , I believe in God 1000% so I'm ready to listen to you with no judgement at all
I believe in the unseen , so do share your experience brother
It will help us all make sense of what is happening
Thank you and God bless for sharing
Have you ever noticed how your body seems to operate on its own?
The lungs breathe, the heart beats, the liver cleans, the stomach digests, the ears hear, the eyes see.
None of that requires your consciousness, it happens on a sort of autopilot.
The autopilot "knows" what to do in many different circumstances. Think about your immune system and how it works.
So then what is your consciousness?
And what/who is the autopilot?
I assume it's my habit , my muscle memory , sometimes when my brain forgets , I can make my muscles remember where I have left something like a key or my wallet
There is a part of me that's me , but there is also a potential inside me to be limitless
It's the same part of me that turned me off all my bad habits and some how gives me the will to be a better man, awakened and sustained by prayer
They always conflate mind with brain, but that's not true.
The mind is a full body experience.
If each cell has your DNA, then you are like a hologram where even the smallest piece of you (a cell) contains an "image" the whole thing. It even knows how to gestate us from a primordial soup into a human. And it can regrow our skin and stuff. Other animals can even regrow limbs.
Wanna meet aliens? Just change your perception slightly, it is all around you. The most fascinating life forms you could possibly imagine, are right here on Earth. And look how peaceful, friendly, and symbiotic most of them are!
Fractals .
Are we God's cells? Is the devil cancer? Turning cells into tumors by breaking their belief and turning them against what is correct
Forgive me
Truly the lord has made a world that us more like a universe than a world
By aliens do you mean actual ones or do you mean the vast myriad of animals , plants and organisms that fill our world ?
Animals, plants, organisms, rocks, water, air, and you.
From the moment we are born, it is all alien to us.
Then adults will aim to familiarize us with this place, first through feelings and then through language, so that we will believe it's "our" home.
But we came here many millions of years later, many many years after it was someone else's home. After it was trees' home. After it was insects' home. After it was Neanderthals' home. Now it's our home. For now anyway...or so they say.
To him we belong and to him we shall return
You are wise brother
Now here's the important part...when Pfizer or Moderna says their vaccine aims to get a strong immune system response, does that mean your immune system "talks"?
We have established that there is some conscious thing living within our body, separate from our own consciousness, with its own free will to our consciousness, called the immune system, which has a request/response mechanism to it, much like a person does. But it speaks a different language. What language? Feelings.
Your immune system / autopilot is like a conscious being that "talks" through feelings. You can ask it questions and receive various mental visions and feelings.
On a Freudian level they might call this disassociation, but that's quite a cop-out, it's more like re-associating with our long lost selves after many long centuries of ignorance.
Those feelings establish the many voices of the soul.
Someone once said, "tend to your flock".
I agree
I have prayed to not fall sick and I haven't in a long time
I have prayed to be free of my addictions and guess what I'm actually breaking free
The scripture is like activation codes , think the words, feel them in your heart , rationalize them with your mind, believe them with your soul and the me part becomes less relevant to the point I ask myself : who am I really ? I find my self thinking I am faithful and that's all I can be
It helps me synthesize ideas and put things together.
But have to have something in the chamber behind that.
Also pull things from the other side of the veil so to speak.
Meditation and other practices can have similar results.
DMT induced entity contact with telepathic instructions; "make sure your intentions are absolutely clear". Numerous experiences of similar overwhelming wonder and joy at returning "home" and realizing this is all a cosmic joke to that side of things...so, chill out. Extreme emotions... It allows for a redefinition of your reality perception.
