Fun fact: I used to go to "Quiz Bowls" at Duke in high school. And one time we played the eventual winners. Thomas Jefferson HS in Virginia.
They had a Jewish guy on their team. Dude was quite sharp.
Their competition had a team round, where people could confer with their team for answers.
No joke, the first category this team got for group round was "Wars of Israel"...ten questions all on separate Israeli wars.
Hmm...let's see. The guy with the yarmulke just rattled off ten straight answers. I would have gotten MAYBE two...they just didn't teach those wars in high school, not even AP.
OH, even funner fact....pretty sure I know a girl that worked at Duke, and she's currently living in an underground bunker...that may have an entrance at Duke. Place is shady as shit. I wondered why a Catholic or whatever university would have "devil" in their mascot.
