Symptoms does not always mean pain or feeling some sensation. Just like bruise - there are already no any pain, but it is still here - your body still fixing damage that is why that blue spot here. Or if body temperature slightly higher than normal, say 37°C - many people does not feel that at all, but the symptom in form of unusual temperature still exists. Same with cancer. There should be symptoms if it present. Even if there is no pain. If there are no symptoms, there are no cancer.

There could be as normal tests, that show changes in working of your body, i.e. symptoms, f.e. temperature measurement or counting lymphocytes in drop of blood, and "tests" that just show presence of something in your body that really does not mean you are ill.
