I think this food supply thing is just fear mongering. It's possible that "they" or the "chosen people" will eat that food supply. You cannot guarantee safety from it.
Secondly any food you eat is not the same as taking it directly in your blood, it will go through safety mechanisms.

We also irratiate meats to kill bacteria (shit from Mexican pork and whatnot), but what are you referring to here?
