I mean honestly "be prepared" sounds more like a call to... prepare. I have a pretty massive nonperishable food stock, and multiple security measures and defense plans in place for what's coming. Can't really prepare for a ten year lock down, as that's not feasible, but its good to have a plan to make it through the early stages if possible.

what im seeing, especially the massive hiring/training frenzies for security forces that double as riot cops, does not look like part of a plan that involves anything short of absolute relentlessness. i think people are severely underestimating the sheer amount of ppl that are A. crazy as all hell and B. willing to do pretty much anything to anyone for a paycheck. my apologies for conveying that in a labeling and/or accusatory manner. just stressed.
I'm stressed as shit I get it. I have over half a grand in nonperishable food, and a litany of survival supplies in place because its been made obvious that violent force is coming for us.
