No no, I didn't miss anything. Au contraire. Dunning-Krueger. You have no idea about nature, and apparently neither do "they".
They can't filter through radiation, because they can't re-create the entropy needed. It breaks the laws of nature. Simple as that. There is nothing else. That's it. And that might - as you say - just bring our demise. Surely are headed that way, but what is missed is that includes all as we know it. On the other end new life-forms adapted will thrive, but us (incl. "they") won't.
Yes they can because they have the ISS. They filter through radiation surviving in radiation.
Sure you are gonna provide it's fake. Irregardless to the point.
Back on point. At what point don't we have a major war? We are as close today to major conflict as we have ever been. Infact doomsday is the closest it has been since its measurement. There are so many factors escalating into increasing convergence, events cascading into adversely threatening our numbers, including our natural planet. The more we've advanced recently the worst this planet has become. Much of it is being escalated by technology and more is becoming problematic towards an eventuality. Where we are in a population tipping point. Our global population is quickly becoming unsustainable because technology has advanced quicker than the excessive population burdening its advancement. Population is also threatening our ecosystems, resources, economics, welfare, and security. And rival technology is faster causing competition and conflict.
War is a last resort but it normally becomes necessary for survival. That survival as previously summarised can practically reset the Planet from a bunker.
So Dunning Krueger is partly when you don't know that you don't know something. I know that something that you don't know. It is not irregardless the point. Depending what the point is, because you speak in tongues a bit...
How does fungi and bacteria act on the ISS? Where do we study this? Why do we study it in space?
I say to them, have fun having sepsis, cancer or severe AI's EVERYWHERE else than on planet earth. Look what happened to Scott Kelly.
Ahh showing your true colors? Not willing to learn anything? I'm not sure why you are getting angry?
The famous quote paraphrased: The ones dancing looked insane to the ones who couldn't hear the music. I'm dancing and the music is loud and clear. If monkey brain is the best retort you've got then so be it.
Here's the deal.
We as a species evolved under the electromagnetic spectrum that is present on earth. That's what our biology is working with. Think circadian rhythm, hormones (e.g. vitamin d, melatonin et al synthesis) and so forth. All controlled by light. Electromagnetic spectrum = light - or rather light is part of the electromagnetic spectrum. IN particular the light from our sun that falls on earth - (including the cosmic radiation we get here). Anything that disrupts this inevitably leads to disease. We - as all living things - rely on those light signals. Light (and more precisely the type of light) is the controller of so many things, not just in nature (photosynthesis for example) but also in our bodies. Even the food we eat is made from photosynthesis from the sun. What happens at the inner mitochondrial membrane? Is it not important that we get the right food?
It's really that simple. But fair to say, it took me a few years to grok.
What you seem to be saying is that someone ("elites"?) is smarter than nature - and that these "elites" have figured out ways to live in space - breaking all these fundamental laws of nature. We didn't evolve in space or on Mars. We evolved on earth. Our biology is primed for terrestrial living - not space living, not mars living - AKA - what happened to Scott Kelly. Which signals do the light/radiation signals give to the body (and the food you'd eat).
WHAT HAPPENED TO SCOTT KELLY WHEN HE WAS ON THE ISS?
Hyper-methylation, auto-immune diseases.
His twin who stayed on the ground suffered none of these.
What happened when he returned to earth?
He reversed his conditions.
The reason why fungus and bacteria are studied in space is because they replicate much faster in these environments with higher radiation. That's why they destroy entire space stations. Hence why sepsis also would be an issue if you go and terraform on some other planet.
What would some other issues be? Fertility would certainly be up there. People in space/Mars would struggle immensely with fertility and eventually wouldn't be able to procreate. Why would that be? Because light is the main controller of hormones (again think VitD, cortisol, melatonin etc.). Are any of those three (and many others) important for getting pregnant and carry a baby until birth and have a healthy baby? Resounding yes. That's just one example out of hundreds if not thousands...
