Kid was watching a show on netflix, Dragon Rider. Overheard them use this line. Is this predictive programming as they say? Out of all the possible prophecies they could have picked for a show... Sounds like Clif High and Netflix are on the same page.

Silver is continuously consumed in electronic waste so the amount above ground may be similar to gold. It's a better conductor so once there's a deficit it may shoot higher than gold.
ENIG for the win!
I've heard Clif High mention it as a possibility on his show. Because it's really valuable for commercial uses but its price is heavily manipulated. Apparently China is running low. Although I'm not the one to talk authoritatively on silver prices.
Just seemed like a real clunky prophecy for a kids show. Also since when do kids care about gold and silver prices?
They might care about the price where silver and gold is mined, or the piles of “aid” (read: trash) that is shipped to Africa and makes huge landfills... (re-mining, busting old crt monitors and mother boards and reselling the scrap)
Because children work those areas.
Maybe higher in terms of total market cap.
True. However for us unenlightened householders who still struggle to pay bills, we seek ways to better our financial situation. As long as I'm going to work, filling car with gas, buying groceries I'm stuck in that world I'll try and figure out ways tour better my financial situation. But yes, not the ultimate goal.
If/when the system crashes, lead > gold/silver.
I believe silver is higher than gold in military rankings, not sure if there is a connection
