There are lies on both sides because there is money to be made on both sides.

Every side has always lied to get what it wants, they just lie about different things.

Example, I've seen the 85% miscarriage number thrown around every conspiracy site, which is a flat out lie.

Then you have Doctor Smollet up here in the house.
