I've been on .win for a while now, but haven't really posted here before because r/conspiracy was at least somewhat tolerable for a little while after u/axolotl_peyotl was unceremoniously booted for talking about the election conspiracy.
However, it's since started getting intolerable. The mods have basically just stopped getting rid of users who are there to troll (even when they admit it), break rule 2 by just bitching about the subreddit constantly, not to mention the brigadiers who have been brigading even harder since nonewnormal was banned.
There are users there I have personally reported no less than 30 times over a period of weeks or months for breaking rule 2 and/or trolling and they're still fucking there. They won't get rid of the comments 99% of the time let alone actually ban the people who consistently break the rules. The only mod who I can see even tries is Amos and that's it, and I can't expect him to be able to do it all by himself.
What they do remove though are links to this sub (*win), but mostly leave the links to the nonewnormal win alone, which is bullshit. They don't mind NNN users coming to the win sites, but god forbid people want to check out a conspiracy forum that's not their own.
r/conspiracy has just been going downhill ever since you left Axo. Thanks for having the foresight to make this place, even if it's not getting the amount of users it deserves to. I'm still going to keep trying to refer people here who are tired of the bullshit and hope it makes it passed the dickheads who don't want people to have an alternative.
What, you don't go to a baseball forum and constantly shit on baseball? You must be a right wing Nazi terrorist.
Seriously, there are so many brigaders, trolls, shills, and bots on r/conspiracy that it stops all genuine discussion about conspiracies. The same thing has happened to pol on 4chan.
Right? There's people over there complaining now that there isn't enough about aliens or bigfoot (and when I check their profiles, they've of course contributed nothing to the sub other than bitching).
And I literally get downvoted for telling them to either make their own posts about aliens and bigfoot, or go to the alien and cryptid subs that have quite a lot of subs and are active. Which, to make another analogy, is like going to r/animals and bitching that there aren't enough posts about ferrets instead of checking out an actual subreddit dedicated to ferrets.
It can be slightly maddening.
