If the great reset assholes win, these places will rise and become the first world while the 1st world will degrade into "natural reserves" while all the serf survivors will be herded into panopticon smart cities where they'll rent everything and own nothing and will live short miserable lives, but possibly drugged so they won't mind being slaves.
No one can tell the future, we can only see where the threads go into the distance and guess. But we can also shape it and invent it ourselves by refusing to accept futures pushed for by those who have our worst interest at heart.
